Our
Story
Dolphin Place is a small two-acre forest and estuary next
to Little Manzanita Bay on Bainbridge Island. It contains all the tree species native to the Puget Trough as well as their understories. In addition, it displays exemplars of multiple ecologies: the dry Douglas Fir conifer forest; the wet Red Cedar forest; the alder/maple succession forest; the litoral sand dunes, mud flats and tide pools; as well as their arid/rocky boundaries.
